Nature-Based Tourism & Wellness Destination

Where people reconnect with nature and directly contribute to healing it.

Human activity has released more than 375 billion tonnes of carbon into our atmosphere. Environmental scientists estimate that repairing this “legacy carbon” requires the planting of 1.3 trillion trees worldwide.

That enormous number becomes achievable when broken down to the individual level.

1.3 trillion trees ÷ global population = 166 trees per person.

Project 166, located on our Gore property, is being developed as a fully integrated nature-based tourism precinct. The site is designed to offer immersive, low-impact eco-experiences that bring together environmental stewardship, community participation, corporate engagement, and wellness tourism.

Our model delivers a balanced, sustainable activation across four core pillars:

BOARDROOM IN THE BUSH

Corporate Eco-Retreats

Project 166 provides a unique corporate retreat environment where leadership groups can combine strategic planning with nature-based activities. Facilities include eco-luxe glamping tents, Starlink connectivity, open-air meeting platforms, and curated programs that incorporate tree-planting, conservation projects, guided walks, and team-building activation.

These retreats create strong alignment with ESG outcomes, sustainability education, and organisational wellbeing.

COMMUNITY ACCESS

HipCamp Eco Camping

A community-accessible offering that provides low-impact camping opportunities across paddocks, ridge lines, and creek zones.

The HipCamp model supports controlled visitation, environmental protection, and year-round activation while enabling the community to access the property responsibly and affordably.

OUTDOOR EVENTS

Eco Experiences

Project 166 activates the natural landscape through a diverse range of eco-focused recreational experiences, including:

  • Frisbee/Disc Golf
  • Mountain biking and trail loops
  • “Earth to Plate” cooking sessions using local and property-grown produce

Forest walks, stargazing nights, and seasonal nature events

These experiences drive both repeat visitation and strong community engagement while maintaining minimal environmental footprint.

REGENERATION & RECOVERY

Wellness Retreats

Wellness is a defining feature of Project 166.
The site includes a nature-set swimming pool and eco-friendly sauna, enabling thermal cycling (sauna → pool → rest) and offering nature-aligned recovery experiences.
Additional wellness features include forest bathing sessions, guided meditation, yoga decks, breathwork workshops, and seasonal wellness retreats.

This pillar supports year-round visitation and positions Project 166 as a regional nature-wellness destination.

Environmental Stewardship

All activities at Project 166 are delivered through a regenerative lens — prioritising biodiversity, low-impact infrastructure, waterway protection, wildlife corridors, and land rehabilitation.

Visitors are invited to participate in reforestation projects, seed collection programs, habitat enhancement activities, and citizen-science monitoring.
